The Department of Catholic Education and Faith Formation has partnered with Franciscan University to offer the faith formation resource, Franciscan at Home (FAH), as a very accessible way for catechists/teachers and leaders to engage in the Archdiocese of New Orleans Catechist Formation Program.
This resource provides precisely the type of formation our leaders and catechists/teachers have been requesting: something that is free, online, at one’s own pace/schedule, accessible, and not burdensome or overly detailed/complicated. (Please note that Catholic High School Theology Teachers also have the requirement of Theology/Religious Education course credits/degree from an accredited Catholic college, university, or seminary.
